Full leather with gilt border to the front and rear boards and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are in good overall condition though there is significant wear to the spine, and general wear to the edges and corners, as shown in the images provided. Marbled endpapers which are free from inscriptions. Pencil inscription to the flyleaf. The contents are in very good condition - age toned with some moderate foxing to the preliminary pages and end papers, and light intermittent foxing throughout. A couple of pages have a crease, though this does not affect reading the text. With half-title, title, dedication, argument and contents pages.
