Bevelled boards in emerald green with a stunning gilt/red/blue border and central design to the front and rear covers and gilt to the spine. The boards are in good overall condition. There is some moderate rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine, and some surface scuffing/chips. Please look closely at the image of the front board for an accurate depiction, as the tiny chips are not as noticeable from a distance. Plain endpapers with an ink inscription to the front free endpaper. The contents have between light and moderate foxing throughout and many pages have some handling marks/soiling. Page 85 has a small tear to the right edge which affects only the border and it is almost detached. There are cracks at the hinge in a couple of places, as shown in the final image.
