This is a large , finely bound and very handsome edition of The Holy Bible in very good condition. Full brown Morocco, stamped in blind, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in blind and gilt. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Decorative half-title page. Full title page.
 
Bevelled boards are in very good condition with the odd tiny chip to the leather and minor cracking to the upper and lower front joint. Some rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Soft yellow endpapers which are free from inscriptions. The contents are lightly age toned with some moderate browning to the preliminary and endpapers and occasional foxing throughout. The main text block is predominently clean and bright. 
 
Overall a stunning, well preserved edition of The Holy Bible.
