1895 1st Edition, 1st printing of The Second Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling

This is a lovely FIRST EDITION, first printing of The Second Jungle Book, by Rudyard Kipling. 
Published in 1895 by Macmillan & Co: London & New York. 
Illustrated by J. Lockwood Kipling. 
Bound in the original publisher's blue cloth with gilt blocked cobra to the front board and Mowgli entwined by python to the spine. Dark green coated endpapers. All edges gilt. This book has a slight forward lean, which appears typical for this book. The boards are in good condition with only light soiling and light wear to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. The gilt to the spine has faded slightly. There are two bookseller stickers to the front pastedown and an ink inscription to the verso of the front free endpaper dated Christmas 1895. There is a small circular ink mark to page 23, which has transferred to pages 24/25. The contents are good, with some light foxing throughout.
