Bound in the original publisher's blue decorative cloth with a pictorial paste down to the front cover and gilt lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good confition with only light wear to the surfaces and some light rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. The gilt to the spine has faded somewhat. Front endpapers featuring diagrams of the stars visible in Spring and Summer and the rear endpapers featuring diagrams of the stars visible in Autumn and Winter. There are two ink inscriptions - one dated X-mas 1924 and the other Christmas 2003. The contents are lightly age toned with some light intermittent foxing.
