This is a beautiful signed first edition of The Connoisseur and Other Stories by Walter de la Mare. Published in 1926 by W. Collins Sons & Co. Ltd: London. 
Featuring nine short stories, including 'All Hallows', which is known as one of the best subtle psychological horror stories ever written
In the original brown quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards, featuring gilt pictorial detail and lettering to the front boards and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are in very good condition, with some minor bumping to the corners and some very light soiling. Signed by author to the title page. The contents are lightly age toned with some foxing/browning to the endpapers. pp.358
