This is the first edition of this beautifully illustrated book, which features a collection of 48 hymns, all with accompanying musical scores. Blue boards lettered in gilt, and with a gilt vignette on the upper cover. The boards are in very good condition with only light wear to the extremities. Pictorial endpapers.  Twelve tipped in colour plates plus line illustrations in the text. The contents are lightly age toned but otherwise beautifully clean and bright throughout. A very good copy indeed.
