Bound in brown cloth featuring a pictorial pastedown to the front cover and brown lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in good overall condition, though there are a few grubby marks/splash marks to the surfaces and some rubbing/bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Plain endpapers featuring a neat inscription to both the front free endpaper and the front pastedown. The contents are lightly age toned with some light occasional foxing. Featuring a whopping 64 stories, 30 full page colour plates and 41 black and white illustrations. All colour plates are present - the illustration facing p.160 is partially detached and the illustrations facing pp.172 and pp.314 are detached. Both are sitting neatly in their places.
