It is such a treat to open this book, as each page has a beautiful border which changes in colour throughout the book. The illustrations are also particularly stunning.
 
Bevelled boards bound in green cloth with an attractive floral/leaf design to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition - there is some light wear to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine and a couple of surface marks to the rear board, but nothing significant. Decorative floral endpapers. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Illustrated title page. The contents are lightly age toned with a few occasional spots of foxing. It is a truly lovely book.
