This is a beautiful and somewhat rare edition of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Bound in blue cloth with gilt design and lettering to the front cover and spine. No dust jacket. The boards are in very good condition with only light wear to the corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Decorative endpapers with bookplate for Victor D. C. Wakeford to the front pastedown. The pages are lightly age toned with light foxing throughout. Top edge gilt, the other untrimmed. Featuring six sepia illustrations including the frontispiece, each with captioned tissue guard. All complete, clean and bright. Also featuring black and white headers and tailpieces.
