Uniform matching hard back binding in publisher's orange cloth with black lettering to the front cover, faded gilt lettering to the spine and a black circular 'George Routledge' stamp to the rear board of each volume.  The boards are in good overall condition - there is some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine and also some surface soiling. Grey/blue endpapers which feature advertisements for Morley's Universal Library and with an ownership sticker to the front pastedown of each volume. Ink signature to the top of each title page. The contents are otherwise clean and bright.
