Bound in the original publisher's red cloth with black lettering to the front cover and spine, and an attractive pictorial design to the front cover. The boards are in very good condition with some light rubbing and bumping to the corners and to the head and tail of the spine, and a few very minor faded speckles to the rear board. Complete with green pictorial dust jacket which has some signs of wear - the jacket is lightly soiled and there is some edgewear, but it is complete and unclipped and in very good overall condition.

The contents of this book are also very good. The pages are lightly age toned with some light spots of foxing, mostly to the preliminary pages. Light spotting to the page edges. Featuring a tipped in colour frontispiece with captioned tissue guard, and a further six beautiful tipped in colour plates.

Overall a beautiful and highly collectible book of fairy tales.
