This is a lovely edition of The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley. 
Undated. c.1930 Published by Ward, Lock & Co. 
Beautifully illustrated with fifteen colour plates by Harry Theaker. 
Pictorial from board with pale orange cloth spine - rear board has the 'Sunshine Series' red and white stripe design. Good condition - some light wear to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine, but otherwise good. Ink inscription to the front free endpaper. The pages are age toned and there are a a few light handling marks here and there. pp.128
