Grey pictorial cloth boards with red and white lettering to the front cover and gilt lettering to the spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light surface wear and rubbing/bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Pictorial endpapers with some browning to one side at both the front and rear. The contents are mildly age toned but otherwise clean and bright throughout. There is a strip of white tape to the top of the first page which has been used to cover up an inscription. It does not affect text at all - see images provided. Superficial crack to the front hinge. Beautifully illustrated throughout in both colour and black and white.
