Condition: Very good in very good dust jacket, complete with protective cover. 
 
Blue boards with decorative gilt border, gilt lettering and a gilt portrait to the front cover. The boards are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. Pictorial endpapers which are clean and free from inscriptions. Contents lightly age toned with the odd very minor spot of light foxing - otherwise beautifully clean and bright throughout. Complete with the original dust jacket which is an uncommon find, particularly in such good condition. It is age toned with some light foxing, and with a deep crease to the upper front cover - otherwise light wear to the edges. The jacket explains the story of this edition of A Christmas Carol, being a new edition specially prepared for children and illustrated by 'that brilliant artist' Gilbert Wilkinson.
