Condition: Very Good. 

 

Bound in burgundy cloth with a design in black to the front cover and spine and burgundy lettering over a gilt title band to cover and spine. All volumes are firmly bound with some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Brown endpapers which are free from inscriptions. Moderate-heavy foxing to the preliminary pages of each volume with light to occasionally moderate intermittent foxing throughout. Volumes I and IV have images with moveable parts stuck to the rear pastedown. Volume I depicts the dissection of the chest an contents of the chest cavity with layers of the chest which fold down. Volume IV depicts the dissection of the abdoment and its contents, again withlayers that fold down to reveal what is behind.
