This is an extremely handsome, finely bound edition of the works of William Cowper. Bound in full red Morocco with five raised bands to the spine and gilt tooling to both front and rear boards and to the spine. There is some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine.Yellow endpapers with bookplate to the front pastedown. Frontispiece with tissue guard, pictorial half title page. Contents age toned with occasional foxing, more so to preliminary pages and endpapers. All edges gilt.
