This is the fifth story in Enid Blyton's popular 'Adventure Series' and tells the story of the much-loved characters Philip, Dinah, Jack, Lucy-Ann, Bill Smugs and Kiki the parrot as they spend their summer holidays in the Welsh mountains, and fall headlong into another adventure!
 
First UK edition. First printing. Original decorated beige cloth featuring brown/blue pictorial detail and lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. The dust jacket is unclipped [8s. 6d.] and in very good condition with only minor chips/loss to the upper spine, and light wear to the extremities. Tape has been added to the reverse of the jacket, I assume to strengthen/preserve those areas with wear.  Plain endpapers which are free from inscriptions. Illustrated frontispiece and title page. Contents lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright. Minor age spotting to page edges. Overall a beautiful copy of this highly collectable book!
