Bound in a vibrant orange cloth with pictorial detail to the front cover and black lettering to both front cover and spine. The boards are in good condition, solidly bound with some light soiling/marks to the surface and some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Blue and white pictorial endpapers depicting a ship sailing at near with gulls flying overhead The rear endpaper is torn from the bottom to half way up the page, which is still complete.Featuring a beautifully decorative title page and twelve full page colour illustrations, including the frontispiece. The pages are lightly age toned with some moderate tanning to the preliminary and endpapapers and some light-moderate foxing throughout. All full page colour plates present.
