Bound in an unusual but extremely attractive decorative cloth featuring black lettering over a gilt title band to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition with some light wear to the extremities and some minor surface wear. There is a lovely, neat ink inscription to the front free endpaper dated Christmas Day 1903. There is a superficial crack to the hinge at pages 16-17 but the text remains firmly bound. Contents lightly age toned but otherwise clean and bright.
