Paper covered boards with a blue cloth spine. The front board features an attractive floral design with blue lettering to the cover and spine. The boards are in good solid condition with some rubbing to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine and some discolouration to the surface. There is a pencil inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1916. The contents are age toned with some foxing to the endpapers and very minor occasionally foxing elsewhere. Beautiful illustrated by Florence Andersen with four tipped in colour plates and black and white illustrations on the title page for each chapter.
