Vibrant blue cloth featuring a gilt pictorial detail to the front cover. The boards are in good overall condition - there is some rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine and slight discolouration to the spine. Patterned endpapers with some browning to the ffep. Ink inscription to the reverse of the ffep dated 1883. Frontispiece with tissue guard which has some spotting. The contents are lightly age toned with some foxingm, mostly to the preliminary and end pages. All edges gilt.
