Full red Morocco with a gilt three line border to the front and rear boards. Five raised band to the spine. Solidly bound, the boards are in good overall condition. There is some rubbing to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine, and some surface soiling. Red/blue/white marbled endpapers - there is a superficial crack to the front hinge as shown in images. Neat ink inscription to the flyleaf dated 1885. The contents are age toned with some light - moderate intermittent foxing throughout. All edges gilt.
