This is a very handsome edition of the works of Alfred Tennyson, finely bound in full red Morocco with six raised bands to the spine and featuring an attractive border tooled in blind to both the front and rear boards, which are bevelled. There is some rubbing to the edges, corner and to the head and tail of the spine, as shown in the images provided. Marbled endpapers which are clean and bright. The contents are lightly age toned with some occasional foxing. 
 
Solidly bound, heavy volume, weighing 1.4 kg without packaging.
