In the original publisher's pictorial beige cloth with brown lettering to the front cover and spine. The boards are in very good condition, with some light soiling to the rear cover and light rubbing and bumping to the edges, corners and to the head and tail of the spine. There is also the faint remnants of possibly a sticker to the upper right front cover. Beautiful colour pictorial endpapers which are free from inscriptions. The contents are clean and bright with only minor light foxing to the preliminary pages and endpapers. Featuring 48 colour plates by Harry Theaker. The frontispiece is loose but is in situ and in lovely condition.
