This is a stunning early reprint of The Arthur Rackham Fairy Book, published by George Harrap & Co. Arthur Rackham was a very highly regarded book illustrator and within this book is a large collection of illustrations to accompany classic fairytales and stories. Bound in vibrant red cloth featuring an orange pictorial design to the front cover with black lettering to both cover and spine. The boards are in lovely, clean condition with only minor wear to the edges and corners and to the head and tail of the spine. Pictorial endpaper which with the exception of a strip of browning are also in super condition. The contents are clean, bright and beautifully illustrated throughout. Complete with the original unclipped dust jacket which has some darkening to the spine, light wear to the edges and a neat tear to the rear joint as pictured.
